Dr. Simon Rosenbaum is an NHMRC Early Career Fellow at the University of
New South Wales (UNSW), Honorary Fellow at the Black Dog Institute and George Institute
for Global Health, all at Sydney, Australia. He is Director of the Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA). Dr. Rosenbaum published over 200 peer-reviewed papers on physical activity and mental health. He is one of the most cited authors in the field and his research receives lots of international media coverage. In his presentation, Dr. Rosenbaum will share his experiences in working with veterans in Australia and the US, first aid responders in Australia and his work with Syrian refugees in Turkey and the Rohinga people in the refugee camps in Bangladesh.
